I did watch it to the end, so it couldn't be that bad (I don't have much patience). But the show does feature too many of the cliches you expect from soaps and melodramas, including the evil character who seems to always get away with anything and the abusive in-laws.
Good values, overall, and a message of forgiveness and courage in the face of unfair hardship.
