I first caught this show when it went on air a couple of years ago, and I cannot get enough. The humor is extremely irreverent, and they don't hesitate to be un-PC. But it is done in a way that always ends up being self-destructive to the main characters. I think the chemistry and acting make the show though. It feels almost like a biography or documentary rather than people acting out characters.
Don't watch if you are easily offended. But if you like off-the-cuff, sometimes non-sequiter humor then you can't miss this show. I hope this show runs for a while.

This show is absolutely outstanding! I bought the first two seasons on DVD and to tell you the truth, I can't believe HBO hasn't bought this series yet. It was hilarious and unpredictable before Frank (DeVito) was introduced, but after his arrival, the gang became unstoppable. Definitely not a show for everyone, but the comedy is extremely refreshing and FX should be applauded for taking the risk they did because this series is gold...

always spot on, great chemistry and interplay between characters and forever pushing the envelope...

people here talk about how depraved and unredeemable these characters are (which I mostly agree with), but Charlie is the one with heart. He's a dimwit, but he is the only one who isn't constantly scheming against one of the others. I hope that someday he gets the waitress.

I would have to agree, that sadly, this season has not quite measured up to the last 4 in what I call lpm(laughs per minute), but it is still the funniest show on TV, so I can't hate. No other show could make me laugh for half an hour straight till my lungs hurt like the first 4 seasons, but there is nothing else on TV that makes me laugh as much as this show still in season 5. Some episodes have been better than others so I just trust they will find a good groove. The chemistry is great. Charlie can barely speak without making me laugh and Danny Devito's reactions are priceless.
Here's hoping they can keep up the good work and put this show on the map in the TV history books! I know that doesn't make sense, just run with me here.

How did Dennis become helpless all of a sudden? I thought he was supposed to be the "brains (and looks) of the gang" according to HIM in another episode. I happen to be on TEAM CHARLIE..so I never thought he was the brains or looks. But the apple peel, the appleseeds, the starting of the movie...What? So along, Mac has been the leader. Hmmm...very interesting.
I love this friggin show!
