Ironside

Concerning the two-part episode in which Det. Brown gets shot, one could tell right away that it's from a later point during the show's television run. To begin with, in this two-part episode, one easily notices that Det. Brown has much longer hair and sideburns compared to the first couple of seasons, at least. In addition, these two particular episodes list Elizabeth Bauer as being on Ironside's team in her role as police officer Fran Belding. Barbara Anderson, as Eve Whitfield was on the Ironside show for at least the first three seasons before leaving; with Elizabeth Bauer replacing Ms. Anderson. So, these two particular episodes had to be from season 4, or beyond. Hulu's stating that it comes from Season 1 is a gross error. Nevertheless, I appreciate the fact that this site offers episodes from the first two seasons. Ironside to this day remains one of my top 10 shows of all-time, and I am in my early 50's in age. I agree with one of the previous threads posted. It would be great if Hulu could provide for viewing the actual pilot episode in which Ironside was shot.   See 3 other replies

In this case I think the "content partner" must be IMDb, because they show the same error in their listings. The Ironside "pilot" was the 1967 TV movie [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061823/] which first aired on 28 March 1967. The Ironside TV series [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061266/] was first broadcast on 14 September 1967.I'd be thrilled if Hulu could add the pilot/TV movie, since I haven't seen it in thirty-odd years and remember it as being pretty good.   See 3 other replies

I'm kinda on your side. I remember the first was Ironside being shot but that may be classified as a movie instead of an episode and very well may have been two two hour movies. Anyhow the one with Brown getting shot was not the first Ironside but may have somehow been the first "episode".   See 3 other replies

Despite the advisory (Episodes from Season 1 are posted in the order provided by our content partner. They confirm that this is the correct sequence of episodes.), the "pilot episode" still runs 6:1 and 6:2 rather than the original pilot. All other Season 1 episodes appear fine. Who is the "content provider" for Ironside, anyway? Perhaps they need to check their sequence. Or perhaps offer an explanantion?   See 3 other replies
