Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Also, I was excited that Inspector Gadget finally came to DVD, but the set only had 22 episodes, and not the whole season of 65. Surprisingly, it looks like that DVD set wasn't much of a seller because amazon.com doesn't sell it on there anymore, and I wouldn't buy it either because it had only 22 episodes. I hope the company releases the FULL first season containing all 65 episodes.

Did anyone see the "Get Smart" movie? I think Steve Carell would've made a much better Inspector Gadget than Matthew Broderick, but I guess at the time he wasn't well known enough to be considered for the movie. See 2 other replies

Gadget works as an inspector for the Metro City police department. His missions often take him to a different exotic locale, generally without giving any explanation as to how a crime on the other side of the earth was of any interest to the Metro City police See 1 other reply

I love that we have this here now, but this is only 22 episodes - the first season of the show had 65 episodes and the second season had another 21. Will we be seeing those ever?

Well, Inspector Gadget is partly based off of/inspired by a 1960's spy show called "Get Smart". The main character of "Get Smart", Maxwell Smart, was played by Don Adams and he does the voice for Inspector Gadget. So you may recognize the voice from that. See 2 other replies
