A really great movie, it has romance and action both, Usher was great in it He really should do more movies, people talk about Denzel Washington, who to me is ok but not really my type, Usher's much better, and as a white woman myself, I would have went for him too, like the female lead did, its nice to see a young black man playing a good guy insted of playing a gangster, or just the token black person in the movie, who always gets killed, to tell the truth I cept aspecting Usher to get killed too even though he's the lead, I think Ill watch it againe.or maybe go buy it on dvd.
Actually, spacemnky_05, I think Usher's first movie was The Faculty in 1998. I didn't know you meant if this was not Usher's first leading role or not. If I can verify this info. to be so then I will definitely post it on here. :-)
Godfather Meets Guess Who's Coming To Dinner In A Trainwreck!
This is slightly better than Ashlee Simpson's Undiscovered but just by a hair. Usher is just too nice of a guy for this role---it's just bizarre and not believable at times. This really does feel like a movie we've seen so many times before---this time it just didn't deliver. If you like rubbernecking to see a trainwreck the size of Godfather hitting head on with Guess Who's Coming To Dinner then this is your kinda movie----if not, skip on to the next movie on Hulu.
