I will make this short... Spencer, no matter how big a nozzle. He was the reason for watching this show (Entertainment Value). At least.. before he became religious. My point is, it's stuff like this that people want to see in reality t.v., some 'Guy' or 'Girl' just go completely nuts.
I would recommend this show for anyone who likes reality t.v.

I watched the whole season and really enjoyed it.
But I never understood the voting process or why we even voted...? That whole concept is lame.
You have a bunch of celebrities (so called anyway) in a jungle competing in things like 1. Immunity (not to be voted off regardless of public vote) and 2. Food Trials (a chance for a team to eat something other than beans and rice) But then America also votes who they want to KEEP on the show based on what? Just who you like best? That's so lame. I know this is for charity but they should take away the "America Votes" voting process and do it more like survivor. They have to complete to also WIN the title "King/Queen of the jungle". That would make it more interesting and it's not just all based on who is more popular that week! They should take the 2 celebrities who had the worst times during a competition or who opted out of the competition and those are two that go up on the chopping block. Either the tribe votes 1 or the 2 out- or America does. That way they are rewarded for good work and endurance instead of who is the most popular. Anyhow it was a good show. But geeze if it's for CHARITY then they should have highlights Lou's Charity at the end of the show or SOMETHING- they didn't do anything for the charity that WON! LOL! Kind of LAME. Obviously the show is for rating and popularity and not for the so called Celebrity Charities haha Oh well.

After watching this show in and out of sequence and at last! the finale... Yay, Lou won ( I was rooting for Torrie), but why didn't they tell the audience what charity won and how much was donated???

I like this show. I especially like Lou Diamond Phillips who has shown himself to be a very strong and charismatic leader. I wish there was less killing of everything in sight. Rather than copy other shows and have people constantly drinking or eating bugs, why not have some real jungle tasks/competitions such as building a dwelling or bridge, orienteering, and other problem solving for daily living. It takes no courage to capture and kill and eat or drink a helpless bug -- it's really just a test of how willing one is to taste something unfamiliar.
There has been a lot of talk of John Sully being a vegan. I didn't know that being a vegan included eating and drinking any insects, whether alive or dead. So, Mr. Sully may consider himself a vegan but most vegans would not agree. By definition, vegans avoid as much as humanly possible the eating and using of animal products. Wanting to win a contest is not an excuse to kill and eat animals, even if only insects. These comments are not intended to take away from the amazing championships Mr. Sully has won or from his obviously good character and willingness to "do his share." Almost finally, I absolutely hate the call in and vote aspect of this (and other) shows. I would like to see people win things based on their own talents and not on popularity. If there were genuine competitions (rather than bug eating), this could happen and it would be a MUCH more interesting show in which the better person could take home the prize. As it is, the most popular person wins no matter what so who really cares who the winner is. And now finally, Mr. Baldwin PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE just shut up about being a born again Christian. If you have found a way in life that works for you, I'm very happy for you. But, Jesus led by example and not my running around telling everyone he met that he's a Christian and they should be too. If Jesus had acted like you and the Pratts, there would be no followers today. Please! live your life joyfully and lead by example. If you do a good job leading by example, maybe others will ask what motivates you to behave in such a manner. If all you've got is to run around shouting "I'm a born again Christian!! I'm a born again Christian!! You should be too!! You should be too!!", well, Mr. Baldwin, you're going to have to preach to the choir on that one. No one else is interested (or impressed or even curious. In fact, that's the point where we turn down our tv sets and go and get a snack or something).
