Description

I Am Legend stars much-loved South Korean actress Kim Jung Eun ("Lovers in Paris") as Jeon Seol Hee, a feisty heroine who seeks redemption from her scheming in laws and cheating husband after a bitter divorce. Seol Hee joins forces with high school friends to create the Comeback Madonna Band. Veteran stage actress Hong Ji Min joins the cast as the vivacious Lee Hwa Ja, while Lee Joon Hyuk ("City Hall", "Star's Lovers") stars as the charismatic ex-rocker and Seol Hee's love interest Jang Tae Hyun. As the all-woman band struggle to advance their musical careers, they must each confront obstacles presented in their personal lives. What ultimately motivates and unites these dynamic, independent woman is the music they so love to play. The drama's fictional Comeback Madonna Band produced an actual CD consisting of songs featured in the story, including a runaway hit cover song of Korean girl group Girl's Generation's 'Tell Me Your Wish.'

There was something about the lead character that turned me off and I just couldn't keep watching. I think I made it to about episode 10. This woman married for money, then gets all pathetic when it doesn't work. She dresses and acts entirely to young. She acts tough when she's in her "rocker" clothes but then is pitiful with her husband. Her husband is a hot shot lawyer, but she thinks she can take him on in court representing herself! I just couldn't find any characters in this story to hold my attention. On the positive side, there is some good music!

This show is joyously uplifting while also tackling some of the greatest difficulties people face during the most trying times of change in their lives. Unlike many other shows the characters are not static. They grow and change over the course of the 16 episodes... and the music is great, too. I just wish the songs were subtitled.

This is one of my favorite K dramas! I love all the characters. The music is great. It's funny and sweet and the chicks rock! It's about "older" ladies who drink, smoke and have a good time. It's also about following your dreams and staying true to yourself. The music's not half bad either. Do yourself a favor and watch this drama!

haha! Umm... is 40 old, or young, here? Male, by the way. lol. I do love these K-Dramas, too. I agree - the music really did rock. After watching this show, I actually found a K-pop station to listen to sometimes on my Android's winamp. (Hard to find real Korean Rock... sometimes pop is the best you can do!) See 3 other replies

As an old guy from Oklahoma I am not sure how much my opinion is worth but that Music ROCKED. I tried to buy the CD but found both Amazon and iTunes were out. I finally settled for MP3 downloads for some of the main songs to load onto my iPhone. I would still love to find the CD somewhere. That is a concert I would pay to see.
