This movie was incredibly funny from beginning to end with ridiculously over-exaggerated skits. It's clear that Dave Chapelle must've seen this movie because his skits have quite a few of the same things (in other words, if your a fan of Chapelle's Show, I think you're gonna like this movie). The sad part is, that yes we have advanced somewhat but there are still these stereotype roles being made for African Americans and it's nice to see movies like this and shows like Chapelle's that try to make the most of it and show these stereotypes for what they truly are---just plain silly.
I have always wanted more from Robert Townsend after seeing this. A new outline - its not a race and chase, or romantic comedy. I watched this more than once. It will warm the cockles of your heart, and you'll laugh out loud.
