Below are some ways to navigate the Hulu Plus application using touchscreen gestures in Windows 8.
While in Hulu Plus, swipe from the border at the top of the screen to about halfway down the screen. This will allow you to browse TV and Movies, access your Queue and manage your Favorites. To leave the menu, just tap the screen below the menu.
When not using a touchscreen device, right-click to access these features.
To access specific video or show information, slide either up or down on the video thumbnail This will pop up a menu at the bottom of the screen with more information. Here you can add videos to your Queue and Pin your favorites to the Start menu. To Favorite a show, search for your show with the magnifying glass icon. Then, slide either up or down on the show thumbnail to access the Favorite button.
While in the Hulu Plus app, starting at the screen border, swipe from the right to pull up the Charms menu. From there, you will see a Settings option. Here you can log out, access your account, and edit other Windows 8 settings.
While in Hulu Plus, swipe from the border at the top to the bottom of the screen. This will fully close out the app so that it's not running in the background. Fully closing the application will not log you out of Hulu Plus.
Yes. While in the Hulu Plus app, starting from the screen border, swipe slowly from left to right to grab another running application. From there, release the application into place next to Hulu Plus. You can now use both applications at the same time. You can also designate the size of each app with the middle bar separating the two.
