Why can't I use Hulu internationally? (outside USA)
Why can't I use Hulu internationally? (outside USA)
Hulu is only accessible within the U.S. and on certain U.S. overseas military installations, as we only have streaming rights for our content in these regions.

Hulu Japan

While one of our long-term goals is to make Hulu's growing content lineup available worldwide, we don't have a timetable or any news regarding expansion beyond Hulu Japan at this time. Expansion requires working with content owners to clear the rights for each show or film in each specific region, and those agreements can take a while to be established. For more information about Hulu Japan, please visit www.hulu.jp.

If you are trying to access Hulu from a U.S. military base, or if our system has incorrectly determined that you are outside the U.S., please contact us directly. We'd love to work with all military families living overseas, but at the moment we can only offer our service to those receiving their internet service directly from the base.

Anonymous proxies

Please note that Hulu does not work with anonymizers or proxy services. If you do not believe that you use such a service, but are seeing an error regarding one, please visit this support article for more details. If you do use such a service, you will need to discontinue its use in order to watch Hulu videos.

Signing up for Hulu

To sign up for Hulu, you will need a U.S.-issued payment source, such as a credit card, debit card, PayPal account, or third-party billing provider (iTunes, Amazon, or Roku).
