Hearts Afire

As much fun as it was to see John Ritter and Markie Post again, about 8 episodes in the outdated political one line zingers and the outdated current event jokes just got to be too much. Markie Post was hired as a conservative journalist early on, and then by the 8th episode she was a flaming left wing nut. The political stuff just seemed WAY too forced.....Sorry, it left me with such a bad taste in my mouth I don't want to watch any more....While Ritter and Post are great sitcom actors, I just didn't feel the heat between when I watched it now, or even when I watched it when it aired. Ed Asner seemed to be just cashing in on his MTM days and playing Lou Grant as Markie's father. Sorry, but the kid actors were not very good either. I will end by saying I hate to give this show a poor review....I liked it when if aired....but just don't like it now....Sorry....:(

I'm glad that this show was added to the site. The cast is a really good one. It seems as if they all new each other forever and got along great as far as acting is concerned. This show is far the best comedy I've see on here except for the comedy show called THE LOOP.
Heart Afire put a smile on my face while watch the entire show. Not many shows can do this. I hunger for more and wondering if my thirst for Heart Afire with ever be quenched.
I hope they have more seasons of this show that they will put on here as fast as they can.
