Description

Kodaka Hasegawa has a hard time making friends at St. Chronica's Academy until he meets fellow loner Yozora. Together, they form a club that, little by little, attracts the school's misfits. But how long can a band of outsiders manage to get along?

I don't usually go for the comedy based shows i generally stick with action or straight up romance or some combination of the two....but this show was great from start to end and the only real complaint i have is that kodaka never ended up with either sora or sena.....i think a season 2 would fix that but even if it never happens it was still satisfying and i will definitely be watching it again at some point

This was a series that I tried on a whim and ended up watching it straight through. Though the story line becomes fairly predictable about halfway through, it's amusing enough to hold your attention until the end. The basic premise of lonely souls coming together and becoming friends by starting a group was endearing and you got a general appreciation for most of the characters. I'd agree that Rika is a bit over the top to allow most kids to watch, but in general, the show really isn't that MA. I've seen far worse with lower ratings.

If you're looking for a decent series to pass the time, this is worth a shot. It doesn't have the content to make it GREAT and leave you in awe, but it is still up there with some very good ones.

I'm not sure if this is such a good anime to watch as a family. Pretty much anything Rika says is inappropriate for kids. And the Japanese BD has more fanservice then the broadcast version.

With very few exceptions, this series could probably be shown to the entire family. The exceptions being if you have small children who repeat everything you wish they wouldn't. The characters (some of them) are stereotypical for the series, but this is anime, don't apply the "learned behaviours" you grew up with, the rest of the bunch remind me surprisingly of my own years in high school. I laughed through almost every bit of this series. Sadly, there are some obligatory bounces and fan services, that's practically a given, but not as many as some of the anime that HAS been rated for family viewing. Watch for yourselves and decide. Just remember, I was laughing the whole time, or at least chuckling.....
