From the multi-award winning team that produced Smack The Pony comes Green Wing - a hospital comedy like no other. Part soap, part documentary, part neither, this is comedy drama at its most surreal and entertaining. Devised and produced by Victoria Pile.
Actually I want to take back the part about "intellectually stimulating", they indeed do have subtle and witty jokes that require prompt brain activity.
I absolutely loved this show, I love the sheer outlandish sex addicts in this hospital, you never know what they are gonna do. Cracks me up. I got everyone around me addicted to it and laughing hysterically, job well done on that front. In response to other comments: This wasn't meant to be intellectually stimulating it was made to make you laugh, not your cup of tea, ok, you're given right, this show captures an element of surprise which causes laughter and thus enjoyment, thanks to the creators and the hilarious cast.
I have no problem understanding british accents when i can hear them. The problem I and the other commentators have is the poor mixing of the dialogue and music. Most of the dialogue is too low, and ALL of the music is TOO LOUD. It is a result of a generation of children growing up with MTV and videogames becoming the new generation of audio and video engineers with very poor taste and damaged ears.

You're right, Green Wing isn't for everyone. It took me a couple of months to get past the first two episodes as well (I sat staring at the screen, wondering what the doodle-doo I had just witnessed). But after I watched the entire show, I can sincerely say that this was one of the funniest shows I've ever watched. You have to get in the rhythm with the show, but the pay off is awesome.
I haven't watched many British shows on Hulu but I know Whites and Misfits are both subtitled. I can almost always understand what is being said (I'm American.) but I understand better if I can read along.

There doesn't seem to be a way to edit a review. So, I want to say that I wrote this review after only having watched 3 or 4 episodes. That was a mistake. Now that I've seen more episodes, I want to say that although the music and camera work continue to be awful, the story line gets more interesting by the middle of the first season. I take back the part about the poor writing. It really does get better if you keep watching. It's not a great show by any means, but it's okay. It has funny moments for sure and the more episodes you watch, the more interesting the story becomes and the more likeable (most) characters become. If I could, I would change my rating to 3 1/2 stars.
Tags are user-generated labels related to this video or show that can help you discover related videos on Hulu. Check the tags you feel are most appropriate for this show or add your own (the number in parentheses indicates how many other users have used that tag.) To find other shows with similar tags, simply click on the tag that interests you most.
Tags are keywords or category labels that can help you and others find videos on Hulu. They also classify videos for later recall. You can tag videos yourself by simply checking the box next to a popular tag for a video or by using the "add" field to create a new tag. Click on any tag — "comedy" for example — to discover other videos similarly tagged by you or other users. Because tags are reviewed by Hulu, there may be a delay in surfacing your tags. The most relevant tags are sorted by category for the rest of Hulu to see. You may assign up to 30 tags for any video or show; to review all of your tags, see the Tags section on your profile page.
Your tags may be visible to other users on Hulu. You should not use:
Profane or obscene language
Tags that are inciting or spiteful
Tags that might harass, abuse or threaten members of the community
Tags that may reveal your personal information or any personal information about children under age 13
Tags that promote illegal or immoral conduct
Tags containing special characters or more than 50 characters
