Agreed. The first two episodes nearly scared me off with all the panty shots and such, but it's gotten much better as I've continued watching.
If you like School Rumble or Ramen Fighter Miki, stick with this one for a couple of episodes before you decide if it's for you or not.

Simply put, this is one of the funniest anime's ever. It's a bit different from the manga series, but the humour is the same. There is an abundance of fanservice in this anime but girls should not shy away from it for that reason, any gender can enjoy this series.

Character development is alright. Some holes here and there but to be honest, deep development of the characters isn't very important.

Plot/story isn't genius but it's not meant to be.

It's light hearted, crudely humoured, flawed (but in a good way), slice of life, high school anime. You won't be disappointed if your looking for a quick laugh.
