I'd reinstall both Java (http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp) and adobe Flash Player (I still call it macromedia, jerks) (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ make sure to un-check the google toolbar install) Making sure you uninstall prior versions before installing the new/current versions. Reboot after uninstalling/before installing and see if that helps.
