Flipper - Original

I just want to thank those at Hulu who make it possible for my son to see this show. He is in the 6th grade and we watch the show together everyday before school, and at other times too. No matter how many times he's seen them so far, which is a bunch, he never tires of watching Flipper. I wish they still had shows like this on. I know it's been said before, but seeing the boys respect thier elders and actually seeing an example of a parent really disciplining the kids is missing on TV nowdays. TV kids today are shown as smart-alecks, talking back to their parents. Such a shame...

It was great to find Flipper on HULU! To echo an earlier post, I hope HULU is trying to add Gentle Ben on to it's lineup. Both these shows were going strong when I was in elementary school. The 60s were a television era where the young characters such as Sandy and Bud on Flipper, and Mark on Gentle Ben, modeled parental respect for the kids of my generation. What a concept! Most of the stuff that TV writers for shows today and for the past 25-30 years aimed at the elementary and pre-teen age bracket is and has been garbage. Sadly, many kids today have been brainwashed to the point that they would scoff at watching a show like Gentle Ben. Parental discipline and kids made to do what they are told, and the TV kids like Sandy, Bud, and Mark are actually portrayed as happy! WOW! How was this possible? Kudos to HULU for giving us a chance to watch decent TV.
