I do like this show. The stories are DIFFERENT!!!!! And for a show premise to see the future this show is getting better with it's story as it goes foward

Initial episodes are ok but then its irritating to watch it for an hour... its better to watch it in fast-farward only...

I randomly came across this show and I was completely shocked. Has anybody else realized this is based on a book called Flashforward by Robert Sawyer? When i read the description of the show I was really excited because I immediately recognized the premise, but after reading the other reviews, i'm not sure if even want to begin. The book was amazing, and everything negative that people are saying (too much relationship stuff, not enough science etc.) about the show is not true of the book. I loved the book. Check it out if you're interested in how it really is supposed to go. But, having said that, i think i have no choice but to actually watch it (missing the first part of the season though).

I really liked the first episode of FlashForward, but felt the next couple were very weak. Especially, the whole 'I had a flashforward of you cheating on me.' Besides that, I think the show is starting to pick up speed. I would like to see more script in the department of quantum physics. I want to know why would anyone cause it. What's the point? That's what I'm interested in; not so much in the relationships.
I wouldn't say 'I'm hooked on this!!' but I'm not ready to discard it yet. I'm sticking around till next reason. But it needs to hit the ground running. There aren't that many tense moments and way to much casual blah blah blah.
Just my opinion.

Lost my interest after the 3rd episode. Absolutely terrible casting in this one. You got Charlie from Lost, Harold from Harold & Kumar, one of the guys from Coupling and I know I've seen that Dr. wife somewhere. Sorry, you pretty much have to go with unknowns in most cases. I don't know if it's getting better, but halfway through the 3rd episode it was removed from my TIVO's season pass. Boring, was going no where. It looked like they wanted to make the show based off of a future love affair. It was pretty disappointing because before the show came out, it looked like it could have been really good.

Not just the best sci-fi show on TV, but without a doubt one of the best shows on TV overall. I think the acting is really good, it's well written, the cinematography is perfect... and I really like the way it keeps changing. The plot is always evolving and really keeps me engaged. It also seems like they change it up stylistically too, which helps keep it interesting.

(a little off topic) Right now I am into my 2nt day in my TV viewing diary from Nielsen. For the 1st day and a half I put in all the times and show I watched on line. Today I got a call from there representative, who made it very clear that the only shows I should use are the ones I see on TV. This cuts out all the shows like FlashForward that I can only watch on line. Due to my shift work. I can tell you all for a fact that most of my co-workers and all of my friends watch at least some TV programs only on line. The correct numbers for shows watched are going to be way off if like my area is the trend across the country.

I'm still not sure about this show. I'm up to date and have seen all episodes thus far, but I gotta say the show hasn't really grabbed me yet. I'm into the mystery, but the only time anything is revealed is in the last 2 minutes of the episode, and then the rest of the show just feels like filler. For the most part I like the cast with the exception of Joseph Fiennes, the lead actor, who is just DREADFUL. He over acts nearly every line, try a little subtlety this is a TV show not a Broadway musical.
I'm gonna give this show one more episode to get it's act together, but I'll likely be deleting it from my DVR schedule next week.
