Sure, they went the cheap route on some of the production. Sure, some of the scenes are just repeats. This show stays fresh and enjoyable (not to mention moving) through its whole run.

Fist of North Star is an anime where the main character makes people explode by punching them. As soon as you accept that fact, get ready for a fun ride. It's so ridiculous and dramatic (and 80s) that it's impossible not to like it.

this show is one of the greatest anime's i have ever seen. I don't even care about the old school 80's feel about it, normally i hate it. Thats how Awesome this show is. Chuck Norris Status FTW!

Though this show would probably be ridiculed as an excessive melodrama if it was released today, anyone who really loves anime (especially that with an early 80's flavor) should check this show out. If you like the movie or the manga of the same title then you, sir, are in for a tantalizing treat.

This is one of the greatest anime show. It's epic story lead the way to many shonen action series such as Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya. If you like over the top action series with an awesomely epic story line this is the anime for you.

This is one of the greatest anime pieces I have seen... It is old (20+ years), so it highlights things different from the anime of today... nevertheless, TOTAL MUST! I'll sure watch it all over again =)
