Acid is right. If they ever do make a second movie to follow Eldest, they gotta remake this movie. But I know thats not gonna happen because I dont think the director is gonna want to spend a lot of money just to redo it. Oh and Waffles, you totally wrong dude. From your point-of-view sure, they both suck. But you should note that the book was a best seller. Same goes for the second of Christopher's Eragon trilogy, 'Eldest.' I have the game, movie, and the book. You should know that they all have diffrences with each other. But the one that sucks the most? The game.
And I have reason to belive that the director of the movie took out so much and changed it was because, if they put the whole dang book into the movie, the cost for everything they needed would be too much. The only movie I know that must've costed a lot to make was Titanic. They changed things because it grabs the viewers attention. I don't think the movie is mainly for the people who read the book first, so I'm guessing they got most of the money from people who have never read Eragon. This is extending your review, Phantom. The part I hated most in the movie is at the end... Eragon went with Arya, he didn't stay behind. Also, Angela was not alone. A werecat was with her. She fought with Eragon in Farthen Dur as well. Yes, they only gonna have this movie, not another after it. Book = Well Written | Movie = Okay, but left many things out and changed. I heard from director's commontary that they didnt let the Urgles have horns because they just didn't want to have such bulky and large suits to deal with, not to mention the cost. In short, the director did not want to spend so much money on a single movie.
Well... now that i've finished with this, you all should understand why they had done so poorly on this movie.
