this movie is brilliantly stupid. i love it and show it to all of my friends. franco nero in his snow ninja suit is one of the more amazing things i've ever seen, as are the enormous choppers of susan george. grab a six-pack and enjoy!
I was 16 when I saw it when it came out in the theatres. My brother and I were already into the martial arts scene. This movie inspired us to incorporate weapons into our practice. I also think that this movie was inspired by a true story of the first westerner to be accepted and trained in the art of ninjutsu. I don't remember the name of the guy. Hmmm...
This one started it all for Sho Kosugi, Hollywood's black ninja. He loses at the end of this one, but he's the hero of Revenge of the Ninja and Ninja III: The Domination, and his career probably isn't over yet.
