I believe Angela Lansbury didn't think much of Priscilla Barnes acting, when Ms. Barnes guest starred on Murder, She Wrote. I've only seen Ms. Barnes in a few movies, and I remember her fondly from Three's Company.She was in one of the James Bond films, and her acting wasn't that great, but she got killed early on in the movie like most Bond girls. A reality television star, a few soap opera actors. I wasn't expecting much.

This was one tough movie to watch... because of the bad acting! Yeah, it's free on hulu but sheesh... rent "In The Light of the Moon" instead.... a much better story of Ed Gein.The townspeople here are just... dumb! And you want to yell at the actors to "spit it out!" Are they trying to act? Trying too hard, maybe!
...and very loosely, Jame 'Buffalo Bill' Gumb, from Silence of the Lambs. Gumb, Norman Bates (Psycho), Leatherface (TCM): all of them mother-obsessed killers loosely inspired by Gein.
