Yeah shows like "Dollhouse" and "Studio 60," the latter moreso, kill me because they put themselves on this intellectual pedestal, then when no one watches, people claim it's because audiences are too stupid/shallow/mindless.The reality is, the shows just aren't that good. There have been and are several successful "smart" shows that actually succeed at creating dynamic characters and telling captivating stories. Aaron Sorkin and the most rabid of the Whedonites need to face facts.I've watched Dollhouse from the beginning and have stuck by it, awaiting either its marked improvement or its deserved cancellation.There's no way NBC will pick this up. They discarded the excellent "Southland" for being too dark for 9pm (since Leno's got all the 10pm slots), so I doubt they'll pick up another dark show with fewer viewers and less critical acclaim. They should try SyFy...
