Hulu worked fine on my PS3 during the trial period. Never any problems. However, since the Hulu Plus release, and the mandatory software update on the PS3, I'm having intermittent streaming problems. Sometime video stalls and restarts, sometimes it skips a few seconds ahead. I'm quite certain it's not my internet connection.
Recently started having reoccurring streaming problems after the update as well. Before I had intermittent problems. Now though it's with every single thing I try to watch. Skipping, stopping..can't seem to go more than a couple minutes without a *major* problem. Not having problems with any of my other streaming.
I've had Hulu Plus over a week now and aside from some minor skipping the videos, been watching Destination Truth if that helps, have been streaming great. But starting yesterday whenever I try to watch an episode it runs a few minutes and then goes black with this message... " Sorry, an error has occurred while streaming this video. We apologize for any inconvenience." Has anyone else gotten this message?Also I've tried clearing browser catch and even rebooting both modem and router.
Here's an idea Hulu, instead of trying to pass the buck and blame my ISP for obvious glitches in your stream/ client (such as never ending looping commercials, or frozen streams--which have occurred at least 4 times on every stream I've watched tonight), how about you actually take some responsibility for your crappy service? I currently pay for Hulu Plus, but I guarantee that if I suffer one more night of this I'm canceling my account and never looking back; especially after you have the gall to get on your forums and blame my ISP, which is currently giving me about 15mb/s (yes thats sustained not burst) and then blame my hardware, while I try and watch on my PS3 which can play 1080/60 without a sneeze, as the probable causes for my miserable Hulu experience.Thanks for making the choice between Hulu Plus and Netflix an easy one. I currently have both, but I bet you can guess which one I am going to keep. Its bad enough that your service either has poor quality connections, is out of bandwidth, or is simply hampered by poor peering agreements, none of which I have any sympathy for since I pay for your service, but to try and lie to me on top of it is unacceptable.
I been a subscriber to Hulu Plus a few weeks and, compared to Netflix and Amazon, the survice is unacceptable! It is the exception not the rule to watch a complete show without being interupted with the "retry" prompt. Looking at this forum I see this has been a problem for over a year and a half without resolution so I feel it's safe to assume Hulu expects us to keep paying for this lousy service - well guess what - fix it or I'm gone!
