I wonder if part of the reason that there isn't a longer post here is that not many people are using hulu any differently now than they did before; i.e. they always watched the shows straight through with commercials. The few that did pre-watch commercials may not see the discussion forum link at the bottom of the page.But if people are mostly not pre-watching commercials then it may have been an unnecessary change.

One of the replies on here was about the commercial interruptions interfering with the buffering. Now I am having a major problem with this, too. While I have noticed the option to watch a long commercial so that I can watch my program commercial free is coming up more often, it doesn't come up with the movies.
Kudos to Hulu for giving the long commercial, no interruption option more. But please, it really would be great if you could reply to this topic with an explanation. I have seen some really stupid and pointless threads on this discussion board and do not blame you in the least for not answering them. However, I do think the amount of replies the topic has received warrants some communication.

I'm also pretty annoyed at this change. I don't mind the ads, I understand they are what pays for the videos (a necessary evil in some cases, haha). But it is *really* annoying to be watching a show, and want to 'rewind' maybe 5 minutes and have to watch a 30 second or even 1 minute ad again??? If this keeps ups, it will make hulu useless.
