Even so, a condescending answer only serves to drive my point further. At any rate the fact that you take stock in such a small-minded socialite philosophy speaks to your intelligence far more than any amount of swearing would do.The fact that you see life as an elitist hierarchy instead of a place of total freedom also disturbs me a great deal because I think it speaks about the general attitude among americans today. I think you'll find that it is that kind of thinking that fosters dictatorship.I'll tell you what's not fulfilling, seeing philosophies like yours populate the world with more prejudiced, myopic, and self-righteous people who are more concerned with gaining more "power over other peoples' lives" than the very lives they have control over.Of course I'm not going to change your way of thinking either but just know that wars have been fought numerous times over the centuries because of class-based elitism such as yours.   See 13 other replies

I am sincerely happy that you find your life fulfilling, Javier! I know that there is a freedom you are enjoying by not caring what others think about you, even if they might think of you as belonging to a lower class.It is those people that do NOT accept or like their station in life that worry about what others think. Why? Because we are a society of made up of "power rings" and (I think) a good majority of people would like to be on higher rungs of the power ladder rather than accepting that they're always going to be on the lower rungs. If you take a minute to objectively look at those who is are in the positions of power over other peoples' livelihoods, I think you would have to honestly agree that it's the "puerile judgmental snob(s)" you mentioned that hold the positions of power over other peoples' lives. Do those in power curse? Sure. BUT, they do not sprinkle curse words throughout most of their sentences. i felt there some instances where it wasnt necessary and just felt out of place, and i curse all the time. for the most part though, the cursing fit just fine.   See 13 other replies
