Day Break

Day Break was addicting and had great acting, writing, and directing. Nice story telling arcs and wrap-ups throughout the series with few bread crumbs at the end with Barry and Jerad. Talented ensemble of actors throughout the series from Taye Diggs, his best work, to Clayton Rohner. Seeing Jared at the end was great. Moon Bloodgood performance was fantastic and yet like her show journeyman Day Break only lasted 13 episodes. The look of the show was also appeasing throughout with Rob Bowman directing and Paul Zbyszewski and Jeffery Bell writing. We can always hope for a TV movie or mini-series to wrap all the pieces up. Like why was Brett reliving the same day over and over. Was it Jared? Who is Jerad really? Who was his brother? And how was Brett going to take down Barry? Great television most times gets canceled to early and ABC pulled the plug on a show that would have made a great line-up of Lost and Day Break.

I just finished watching this series. I had to force myself not to watch it all in one setting; even so I was done in a matter of several days. The complexity of the story drew me in and would not let me go. Just about everything was wrapped up nicely at the end. I think Daybreak is better left alone after one season. Some stories/shows are just better that way, rather than beating the plot to death. I wish there were more shows like this that require some thinking. Most seem to suffer the cancellation fate. Hulu, thanks for showing Daybreak in it's entirety.

I really enjoyed this show. Although it was canceled in 2007 I was pleased to find all 13 episodes on Hulu, and to find that Day Break doesn't leave us hanging in the end. Pretty much everything gets wrapped up in the end.

I love every minute. It keep me on my toes wanting to se what happens next. I was really upset when then canceled the show. Didnt know about hulu till a couple of days ago, I had to watch it through netflix. But thank you hulu I will watch it again and again. Hope they come out with a box set soo. I am going to get it.

I hope I can find this as a DVD boxed-set. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. absolutely LOVED the show, and watched the whole set of episodes straight through (thanks hulu!!)ABC, if you're NOT selling this as a boxed set, with outtakes and commentary, I'm going to have to hurt you. Christmas is coming. get with it!This, along with Journeyman, mystifies me as to why it enjoyed such a short ride. The storyline was great, the acting I thought was well done, not stilted. believable. even thought-provoking. I'd truly love to know WHY it was happening to him, and wish some cable channel would option this for continuance with the original writers, but hey, at least the story is wrapped up with some sort of finish, unlike journeyman, which left too many unanswered questions due to its early demise. STOP CANCELING THE SHOWS I LIKE, DAMMIT!
