To give a poor rating to this show because of it being clips only right now is to pretty much guarantee that it will never progress beyond clip status. It's not the program you really want to ding, it's the fact that you can't see the actual show. I feel the same way. But M S is 100% correct. How long did we all see promos on 'regular' TV for LOST BEFORE even one episode ever aired? I saw dozens, at least. And I don't watch a lot of 'regular' TV.
If, on the other hand, HULU 'sees' a lot of interest in this program, they may be more motivated to get the actual shows in for us to enjoy. I agree with another poster, that this looks to be interesting, IF I could see it. So I am going to follow M S's advice, and subscribe, and see what happens.
HULU is not perfect, hardly, but, it's IS free, and most of the time, I don't even have to log in to watch what I want.
Wanna try Blockbuster or Netflix? Gotta Pay, and pay some more. HULU is FREE! OK, it has adds. Very short ones, and they even tell you the exact amount of time when show will start back up. I never once got a sandwich made during a HULU commercial. While on ABC, NBC, CBS: I can cook an entire meal for 6 during their commercial breaks!
Lets tell HULU, in a POLITE way, we are interested in seeing this show, please.Oh, And Thank You. Lets remember our manners. Someone is giving us something for free, after all. So, lets try nice, for a change. Sugar catches more flies than vinegar ever will. I do not wish to see HULU resort to more onerous way to operate, like monthly paid subscriptions for example. (As Netflix or Blockbuster mentioned above) Or worse.
I'll gladly suffer the few and short commercials to see some of my favorite shows for free. Quality isn't bad either. The streaming works quite well for me. I almost never have freezes or lock-ups. (I hit the pause once show first starts, let buffer fill up, then hit play, works great!)
Also, recording my shows from HULU is just dead easy, so that I can watch away from my computer later on.. So I don't want to upset the apple cart, I like it the way it is.
As for clips being posted as "New show", I agree, and I do not think that's right either. Should be: "Coming Attractions' or something. Buts let's not get our shorts in a bunch over this. HULU is still the best bargain to be had for TV on demand. I'd just like to see them do two things different, (aside from the clips issue) ONE: Add more categories, and: Two: Fill them! Actually, I find plenty to watch... If I look around enough... But if I don't know what I'm in the mood for, I can't type in the name of what I want to see. I'd rather be able to look around at ALL listings, without having to already know it is there just to find it is there. That could use a bit of work.
