I hope they bring more of the creators work on here soon. Like Captain Harloch, Space Battle Cruiser Yamato, or even Queen Emeraldas. I practically grew up with Captain Harloch in the local grocery store's comic book section. But I never got to finish it all. How do you let the owners of hulu know that we crave it and want more of it. I mean, I hate walking into the middle of a movie, but doesn't every body? Come to think of it, in that universe what series started it off? Which one brought brought Captain Harloch and Tochiro and the others? I know there's Gun Frontier, but that's a story arch. It's frustrating not knowing.

I would hope it would... It is from the same person that gave us "Space Battle Cruiser Yamato", Captain Harloch, GE 999 and Queen Emeraldas to name a few... There are several episodes that we see one ship or another from one of the other stories pop up for a cameo in all these shows.

I'm not sure if anyone else remember's The Battle Yamato, but this reak's of it. I like it though.

I though gun frontier was a decent anime... Expeacialy compared to one peice... How could you watch that and think your desprate for watching gun frontier. Your probolly one of those people who thing Bleach and naruto are anime gold... *Bleck* See 2 other replies

Simply put, the Matsumotoverse is rife with reusing and remixing his signature characters, most notably Captain Harlock, Tochiro Ooyama, and Emeraldas. Ever since the days of the classic Galaxy Express 999 manga, it was implied that these characters are eternal, and are perfect for exploration. The consistent themes we'll constantly see are interstellar gunslingers, space purates, and spindly female beauties. if you really want to know the core of all of this, dig up the original Galaxy Express 999 manga, TV series, and Rin Taro's classic movie.

The majority of the more recent shows ala Gun Frontier, Cosmo Warrior Zero, and so on pale in comparison. See 2 other replies

I know sometimes people like to use the same charecter build for other anime/manga, but unless these are somehow related, I find it kinda lazy.
I'll have to watch this after I finish Gun Frontier.
(yes, I'm actually watching that, I'm desparate for anime, plus seems like they removed One Piece after a week)
