The hottest television producers in America venture into a world they know nothing about...sweet dreams slowly ferment into sour grapes as "American Idol" executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick invest in a California vineyard.
(I agree, the editing mauls the show, although the "Cops" parody was pretty good.)Oh, my goodness, thank God these guys are rich, because they are so, so dumb... (Maybe this explains the appeal of their productions, only one of which I've ever seen, and gave up on because of the dumbth.) 1) I'm still finding it hard to believe there's anyone who believes "San Michel" refers to a human girl, but apparently those folks are out there. Unfortunately, some of them vote.2) There is a SanTA JuliettA, who, with her three-year-old son, was brutally tortured and killed as a Christian martyr. She's worth knowing about. However, her name and memory should not be dissed by some illiterate who thinks "San [male form] Juliette" sounds "high end" and "classy," and who has no idea that these "San" things refers to cherished SAINTS in a RELIGION that many people LOVE. Hey, why not name a wine after Mohammed and watch what happens? (Oh, wait. They spell it "San-Juliette," because one should never pass up on the chance to throw a pointless hyphen-or-three around.)3) The dogs' names were mildly funny ONCE. Repeating the joke is absolutely unacceptable. Mildly watchable, although the finish is a bit bitter. Did I mention these guys are DUMB????????? Oh, look! A shell casing! In the country, where people have been shooting at invasive rodents. This must be funny! Because anyone in the country is funny because they're not rich and fashonable! DUMB DUMB DUMB. Cheering on the people who patiently work to keep these guys from, say, falling headfirst into a vat are the primary reasons to watch this show. No, really. DUMB!
It's actually not a bad show. There are some interesting things to you could learn here and the main characters are actually quite likable. My issue is with Fox and the way the show is cut. ENDLESS hype about what is about to come; trying way too hard to create something dramatic when its really not called for. I do not understand this network and why they must ruin good flow and insert such a trite formula. It's boring. I tivo american idol for the same reason.
That much be either Nigel or Ken that wrote that 'helpful' review. What a waste of time! It was nice to see those arrogant pricks lose $6 million or so, but at te cost of watching this pathetic program...not worth it.
I thought this show was just going to be another show where they go around and try different wines but to my surprise it was not. This show is actually pretty entertaining.
Tags are user-generated labels related to this video or show that can help you discover related videos on Hulu. Check the tags you feel are most appropriate for this show or add your own (the number in parentheses indicates how many other users have used that tag.) To find other shows with similar tags, simply click on the tag that interests you most.

You can tag videos yourself by simply checking the box next to a popular tag for a video or by using the "add" field to create a new tag.
