This guy is running for president against Obama, and it shows. The scary thing is he's so hung up on idealogy that he cannot see the flaws in his reasoning. For example, he thinks fixing healthcare and fixing the economy are mutually exclusive; they're not (and Obama has worked harder on the economy isses than on healthcare). Keeping healthcare costs down is essential to helping the economy. You mean Mike would support environmental programs even if the economy was great? He wouldn't. By constantly bringing up the economy he tries to obscure his extremist, conservative viewpoints. He will never support any form of socialized medicine (which Obama's plan, sadly, is not), despite all his ranting about the economy. He doesn't want the economy fixed. What he wants is for Obama's healthcare plan to fail because he perceives it as socialized medicine; "the economy" is a smokescreen. This is why he brings up the economy when criticizing environmental policies as well. This man is a dangerous extremist and having any political influence in our country will set us back light years.
