Unfortunmately, it seems the sketches were produced on a "first thing that pops into our heads" basis, with no selection for what's actually funny and no time taken for refinement. Also, you can see how tense the actors are (especially compared to on the Chappelle show) and again it may be due to doing everything in one take, or it may be their recognition that they're not working with the best material. In the end, this series seems to be reminiscent of the filler sketches that SNL bumps to the last 10 minutes of their broadcasts, i.e. barely watchable and definately not amusing.
