I saw this movie, when it first came out. It was intended to be a "satire" of the James Bond movies, of the time. It failed in so many way because there were too many writers, too many directors. This made it impossible to put together, to make any sense. Satire can be funny, but this one was a total bore. Sorry. :-(
I got just over halfway through this movie and couldn't take it anymore. The movie unfolds in a series of unfunny scenes and plot bits that don't seem to flow together or even matter in many cases. Not kitschy, campy, or interesting, just plain bad in my opinion.
The vote is split though, many viewers seem to like it. So if it sounds appealing to you then check it out though i cant recommend it by any means.
I loved this movie ever since I was a young kid! I liked the idea of Woody Allen as the villian and the fact that five directors made the pic. The best scene for me was when David Niven asked Frankenstein to show him the way out. Frankenstein bumped against a door and turned to walk away with Niven thanking him.
The premise was good. The opening and closing credits had cute photography. the film itself though starts out good but is plagued with bizarre humor, psychadelic photgraphy-which stinks for the time and the ending was totally horrible..I didnt understand the indians parachuting with teepees. The ladies in the film though are very hot and most are in bikinis, plus i think there was a peekaboo when bond calls the woman at the tub.
I give it like a D -
