Thanks for this documentary. Made me miss my 22 year career in the Navy and 12 years riding Naval Ships'

Great documentary..... a real appreciation to what these people give up and leave behind to serve this great country.

From the first to the last episode of Carrier I was easily caught up in every aspect of crew life. My eyes were opened to things I never knew about Navy life and the on board community. Anyone that ever considers joining the Navy should take the time to watch every episode before finalizing that decision. At least the decision could be made with the raw facts. The Navy life is not an easy one, but it can be hugely rewarding and give someone a life that they would be deprived of had they continued to live were they were.I was as much enthralled by the camaraderie of the shipmates as the technology of the carrier. The orchestration of flight ops is an amazing thing to watch considering most of these guys and gals are scarcely older than children.Kudos to the production team and the Officers and crew of the USS Nimitz for a peek into the world of Naval Carrier Operations. Job well done!
