After watching this trash for one hour and twenty three minutes, I now think of many other things I could have been doing for my own good. What a foul taste! I need to get a life!

Saltair Resort in Utah: Great Visuals for History Buffs
I encountered this movie in my travels with the Lincoln Highway Association. The closing scenes (Semi-Spoiler warning...)
... ... ... were shot at the Saltair Resort on Salt Lake, along the old Lincoln Highway. The resort's gone now (changes in Lake elevation were part of the problem), but at least we have a little bit of a record here. Apparently, the original resort was breathtaking. (There's a concert arena now a couple miles from the original spot that has the same name, and a few similar turrets, but it's not nearly as grand.) Bizarre
This film was definitely one of the more bizarre films I think I've ever seen. But strangely I liked it. Like most others, I saw the ending coming from a mile away. Nevertheless, I couldn't help but to stick around to see what happened. For what appears to be a very cheaply made production, it succeeded in holding my attention, all the while successfully creeping me out at the same time. I loved the organ music throughout. It gave an extra spine chilling edge to the movie.

Wonderful surprise.
Painful in some ways--you anticipate the conclusion but you feel a great sense of sorrow. I think the acting is fine. I never quite forgot this movie after first seeing in on television--Ithink one evening. The makers have a fine sense of narrative.
