Bubble Gum Crisis Tokyo 2040

If you were a fan of the old Bubblegum Crisis (like I was), you will enjoy this. If you have never heard of Bubblegum Crisis, you will still probably enjoy this. I especially love the characters and how they are developed throughout the story line. There are a few changes from the orignial anime, but it seems to enhance the anime instead of ruin it. There is a small amount of humor, but not so often to take away from the action. For an old anime, it does extremely well. My only complaint is that the dubbed version makes Priss out to be a terrible singer. It was painful to listen to her sing in parts of the anime, and made me feel embarrassed for her. The subbed version of her singing is really well done. Doesn't matter if you watch subbed or dubbed though, the voice acting was great and the story line still shines.

This is, without a doubt, my all-time favorite anime. It has everything you could want and more: an interesting world, interesting characters and concepts, and the strongest soundtrack of any anime (even beating out the original OVA series). My one complaint is that Hulu doesn't have the English dub, which is actually far better than the original Japanese audio.

14 episodes in and like it so far, tho far from a soon to be classic it is fun to watch. Decent story line and character development. Should you find yourself with a little free time, watch this.

its a bit of an old show so the animation looks a bit rough at times but the story seems to be interesting and the plot looks like it will have a couple of good twists, but with only 4 episodes out as of this review i can't be completely sure. I've seen plenty of anime and this may not be in the top 10 it is definitely one of the better ones i have seen. i don't really care if an anime is dubbed or subbed i'm watching the show cause its interesting not because i care what language it is in. While some shows are better dubbed i find that most are perfectly fine either way.
