This movie reminds me of all the classic campy horror flicks I watched as a kid. Had this movie been produced in the 1970's or 80's, it would have been a classic hit. However, having to compete with films such as Saw, it doesn't stand out too much. I really enjoy the humor of this movie. The major effects were great and the subtle effects came of neatly. This has a bit of 'cerebral thriller' in it, too. I will most likely watch this again when I am in the mood for a campy horror flick. I just think kids today are spoiled a little with what Hollywood has been able to produce. If you want to sit back and remember the good old days of 70's and 80's horror films, this is for you. Expect to chuckle often, expect to take Dr. Phil's "14 signs of a serial killer" test online. This film has the old horror lessons also: 1) never hitchhike, 2) be nice to strangers, 3) don't go into to dark rooms alone.
