I am a distant cousin of Dana Andrews and didn't like old movies until I started taping his movies.

Good movie. Interesting how plot unfolded; felt as if I watching a TV episode of Perry Mason. I guess that was one of the ways a murder/mystery movie was made then. Worth watching. Two Thumbs Up!

Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_empty Nothing but the truth
I found this film very interesting my being from Connecticut. It pits honest men against politicians who care to only get re-elected. It shows how false solving a crime can be used to help people in a political party a almost certain win to get in office. This film show a State Prosecutor determined to get at the truth after getting the police report and a confession from a man that was supposed to have killed a priest in Bridgeport. If was refreshing to see an honest man, the Prosecutor, bring the police's finding and the witnesses statements to the crime in front of a judge and punch holds in their testimony. Lots of surprises especially the end.
