Boo!

I agree. Please do not cancel Boo! My toddler loves it, and it is one of the only things I feel comfortable having him watch. Screen time is very limited for him, and it would be a shame if Boo! was no longer an option.

My toddler loves this show... please keep it on Hulu... there is just not too many shows on Hulu for toddlers...

My guess is that many of the critics are not parents. It seems that people know everything about child-rearing until they have first-hand experience. :)

This is one of the few shows my 13 month old enjoys and my 3 year old is usually interested. Many of the elements of this show have been successful teaching methods in other shows (Blue's Clues come to mind). If anyone is interested in reading an interesting bit about the effectiveness and use of educational childrens shows there's a great chapter in Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point.

This show is perfect for toddlers, it uses repetition to teach animals, colors, counting among other things. The use of repetition is perfect for working with their long term memories as well. My 18 month old and 3 year old both beg to watch Boo! all the time.
I also love how they incorporate tons of different places and locations, its not specific to just Britian.

I doubt I would show this to kids over 4, but I think if you are going to let your kids sit in front of a show, at least let them learn from it. :)

i dont see why people were bashing this show. i think its great. i have a 22 month old and a 9 month old and they love watching it together. my near-2-year-old always answers the questions, or sings along. they come running when they hear the theme song :) and i dont mind listening to the cute little british accents everyday.

After weeks of searching the internet I found out this. Boo! is no longer in production (can you blame them :-). But you can find season one "Boo! Far Away Places" and the bonus "Boo! Country Places" on Amazon.co.uk for around $10-$15. As for stuffed Boo's and other toys, well... I made my son a stuffed Boo after a scavenger hunt to fabric store. I hide it around the house and he love to play "Let's find Boo!"
