I love how movies from the 50's have strong moral messages. Blue Denim is a great example of this.
This movie deals with a subject that is still being argued today and probably will be for another 50 years. I found the lessons learned to be a bit simplistic yet very refreshing in how they were dealt with, especially when everyone today has a quick fix for everything and doesn't take ownership for their situations. I feel this movie is as relevant today as it was 50 years ago when it was created.
i know the ESRB wasnt around then, but shouldnt this have been rated by now? i dont want to have my kid watch a movie that would be inappropreate for her age range.
This is the film that Nancy Clutter, one of 4 members of the Clutter family who were shot to death on a November night in 1959, was waiting to go see with her boyfriend, Bobby Rupp. The book by Capote is outstanding, the 1967 film, shot on location in Holcomb, Kansas at the Clutter farm, is truly chilling.
