Battlestar Galactica

If you haven't seen the series or have only watched a few episodes you should REALLY watch this show! The 4 seasons (73 episodes) of Battlestar Galactica that aired between January 14th 2005 and March 20th 2009 ARE by far and away the BEST sci-fi series I have ever seen. The special effects are there, the acting is excellent, the story line is fantastic, there's twists and turns which make up individual episodes that would be expected of any escape without a plan, yet all the misfortunes after "the Fall" lead to a startling and bittersweet end. The creators, writers, and producers of BSG did a great job portraying a possible reality that hasn't happened yet... or has it? I own the complete series and have watched the entire series start to finish at least 4 times now... IT IS THAT GOOD!I have to add that I am astounded that this series was not destroyed as so many shows eventually are by running it out beyond its season capacity and story line just to sell advertising time and merchandise. Ending BSG after only 4 seasons allowed this show to be comfortably compacted with everything it needs to be one of the best shows out there.And for those of you that think I'm nuts this review is coming from a personality and opinion that Hott Fuzz is the best movie ever made and Watership Down should be required reading in every public school in the country.
