Bat Masterson

Thank You! Thank You! For finally putting on the Good Old Shows from the past. Some of us enjoyed these as children and still enjoy them today. Again I thank you from the bottom of my heart. At least you can watch shows like this with your grandchildren and do not have to worry about what may pop up. Good Clean shows where the bad guy always loses.

Gene Barry is still around at 90 years old (as of this writing). He defined the role of Bat Masterson. The plots were well executed and cram a ton of action into a 25 minute screenplay. Like others who've reviewed the show I too recall watching it as a kid. It wears well and makes for classic television in every way. Thanks Hulu for bringing it back and of course, add the remaining episodes as soon as you can.

The old west legends are rarely retold these days. This is a stand-out show for several reasons. First; because of Gene Barry's cool acting style of of Bat Masterson. He was suave, charismatic, and made you believe that he could handle that cane with deadly force. I loved seeing him spin and flip it. It was as impressive as chuck Connors wielding his Whinchester on the "Rifleman. Second was the camera work on this show. The angles were some of the best from that era, And finally was the theme song. It was a real western ballad. I haven't seen this show since I was a kid, but it resonated with me as much as the theme to Bonanza, or the music of Gunsmoke. Thanks HULU reminding us that classic TV didn't begin in the eighties.

This TV series is old, but full of fun and entertaining action. Yes, we have seen all of it before in other Westerns, but remember this is one of the Westerns that started it all.

Not a bad show if you can ignore the god-awful theme and incidental music. Show, pretty good, music, truly wretched.

Omg, finally a place other than stars western channel where i can watch this, im 27 an love this show, i remember watching these reruns with my grangfather. Keep up the good work HULU
