I Love & Appreciate A Master Chef's Humility & Respect For Food, and that is - so far I've seen - Eric Ripert. It is truly difficult to find humility in a Master Chef while he/she is still vibrant and excited about what they are making, and be conscientious of the environment, the care of the animals and the people responsible for them. I especially loved the episode that showed a huge farm with sheep and chickens, and how 'pastured' food is key (not "organic'"), and the episode of the garden that the Restaurant partners with to show what fresh truly means when making delicious food AND how important it is to care for the animals and environment. The fact that he shows us not just life in a restaurant, but then how to cook even the simplest dishes in a four-star way in our own home while teaching us to respect the food and earth is absolutely top-notch!! I also love that Eric and the staff of his restaurant have dinner together every night.. That takes the cake. He treats his staff as not just a "well oiled machine" to provide delicious food for others, but as family too. C'est Excellent ! Très bien Eric !! Keep the episodes coming!
