I loved this series when it first came online back in March. I listened to bands I never thought I'd give a second chance to (Rise Against, Motion City Soundtrack, Patrick Stump, to name a few) and saw them in a whole new light. Additionally, it opened up my tastes not only to the cover artists, but also the originals.
And yet, the best of the bunch, A.V. Undercover's maiden broadcast, was left out. Ted Leo & the Pharmacists covering "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears For Fears was one of the best performances I've seen this year, but it is the only thing missing from this great series.
Right now my two top Favs are "the swell season" covering Neutral milk hotel and "Owen Pallett" doing Guided by voices. I hope they keep on doing this, helps expose the bands a bit and plus lets you in on a little insight of your favorite bands
