Finally, you mean that conservatives and libertarians have the guts to be hypocritical, holier-than-thou religious nuts who proceed to ignore their own Holy Book's teachings on social justice by advocating corporate welfare before general welfare, practicing the very same immoral actions they criticize in many cases, and use a Bible based on love to denigrate and justify hateful acts against people of other colors, lifestyles, sexual orientations, and genders. For you to so callously and absolutely claim the superiority of conservatives and libertarians affirms my perceptions that you are politically and socially inept to an enormous degree, as any cursory glance shows that no typology or group is inherently superior, regardless of how much you want one to be.   See 60 other replies

There is also the fact that the CIA to all indications was skeptical of the oft-suggested administration claim that there was a direct link between Saddam and Al-Qaeda, a piece of "intelligence" that conveniently would help sell the war to the people distraught after 9/11. This is not to mention the convoluted story of the yellowcake uranium supposedly being sent to Iraq from Niger, which was re-admitted into the administration's case after I believe a forgery was acquired from a seller of government secrets asserting such a program, even though Joseph Wilson had already been dispatched to Niger and found no evidence of such a claim. When Wilson posted an op-ed editorial critical of the administration's re-adoption of this line, his wife (Valerie Plame Wilson) had her identity outed to the press by administration official I.J. Lewis "Scooter" Libby who was indicted for such (and the trial suggested that the leak stemmed from even higher up, but it was not thoroughly investigated). Then there was the large amount of intelligence acquired from Ahmed Chalabi, an exile who was a convicted and sought criminal and who had political and economic interests in seeing Saddam undermined. He was then rewarded for effectively lying to the U.S. by being appointed Afghanistan's (guess what) oil minister. Oh yeah and about Iraq, please look at this link (its most of the way down): http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/library/report/2004/isg-final-report/isg-final-report_vol1_rsi-06.htm. You don't debunk anything, all you do is say so and you regard this as stating a truth, while in reality Iraq dismantled most of its WMD stocks in the '90s when pressure was being applied to the in the form of inspections and sanctions. The war was founded on lies in numerous ways including the fact that Dick Cheney asserted publicly that there was "no doubt" that Saddam possessed WMDs, even though the man appointed to the head ground intelligence post concerning WMD warned superiors numerous times that he could not prove or confirm the existence of such weapons at any of the suspected sites as all intelligence had been derived in a vague fashion from satellite photos and intercepted communications (from State of Denial by Woodward).   See 60 other replies

I'd like to know where you conjured up that 85% statistic, seeing as the entire FNC serves as a mouthpiece for conservatives and Republicans (see Media Matters). Next, so wait, do you think not having sex ed kids wouldn't figure out how to have sex or something? How dumb do you think teens are?
