The miniseries was originally broadcast in two parts on BBC. It was later edited into these 3 parts for rebroadcast and distribution on DVD.

This miniseries tells an interesting "what if" story. It actually sounded quite plausible, at least to someone like me with no background in the subject.

The settings are quite authentic, and the photography is often beautiful. A lot of time is devoted in the beginning to the backstories of the characters, much like the opening chapters of a novel. It's worth it though, because it makes everyone's motivations at the end much clearer.

Great review! I was thinking of writing one myself, but you have basically expressed everything I was going to say. This was truly a great miniseries, and the ending was quite shocking, yet memorable nonetheless!

Yes, this was indeed the whole miniseries in its entirety. Besides the three parts found here on Hulu, there are no other episodes.

To me, this miniseries seemed complete. The conclusion was shocking, but I don't think a fourth episode was warranted, lest they sought to drag out the series and make it redundant.

Could plot and Daniel Craig was good. That said, the other actors were a little over-the-top and the lack of real tension was missing. It is definitely good enough to watch, just not the caliber I expect from BBC production.
