Amazing Adventures of a Nobody: Europe

In this well done "On the Road" reality show the best things about it are #1 Seeing back roads plus tourist areas of Europe #2 Seeing the star talk his way into the good graces of European, American and some African folks. Never mind how he gets clean clothes--that takes up too much time to put on film and how bloody boring it would be. He has a crew with him besides his cameraman--that pretty well says where he gets something if he desperately needs it. There is some pretense, of course. I don't really believe he went entire days with so little food and almost no rest--Leon would have been in a hospital by the end of the shoot! But, this journey which meanders up and down and across the continent is an enjoyable diversion for an American or anyone who rarely if ever gets to travel in Europe.

these episodes -ALL- are actually very refreshing...they've caught me at the most unusual moments wondering, as I walk around Falmouth & Martha's Vineyard for example, wondering things like....they never mention how he gets his clothes cleaned, (mind you I have only just started watching)...what basics he has on him to keep him health, etc. I'm just surprised I think about it as I do; we have many, many nomads here, in various extreme circumstances (including myself)...often with extraordinarily illuminating back stories.

This dude is ugly and seriously annoying. It was really hard to watch him. If you want to waste some time watching a show, waste it on something worth watching, not this junk....

Leon's social awkwardness was distracting. I found him a bit annoying. If he was in the back of my car acting the way he did at times he would have been back to hitchhiking in seconds!
Overall I did like the show. It was interesting and kept me coming back to see what embarrassing situations he would create for himself in different countries.
