ALF

I wasn't even born when this show was on the television, but I always heard about it from my older brothers, and my parents.I don't even own a TV set, because I'm sick of the dribble that's on TV nowadays. Occasionally you can find a good show but ... not very often.While not every episode is as humorous or entertaining, it is still a good show and, now, definitely one of my favorites. I between studying for college, Alf is a good break away from the world. While a comedy, ALF also has some hearttouching episodes ... in short, I think ALF is something for everybody.(It's just a shame that the production was so terrible for the crew. :( )While ALF certainly has some destructive tendencies, his sarcasm and ignorance doesn't really damage anyone, and sets up a good environment that both children and adults can watch and enjoy ... certainly not something that can be said of most shows in syndication today!   See 7 other replies

I was somewhere in my late 20's when Alf came out. Found it cute, funny, and touching and still do today. This show appeals to all ages and intellect levels. I like to watch shows like this as a de-stresser. It's light, funny and relaxing to watch.Except for Sci-Fi, History and Documentaries I don't care much for what's on the tube these days. I enjoy unwinding to old TV comedies. It's like putting on an old pair of slippers -- very comfortable.If Alf isn't to your liking -- watch something else. Nowadays, everthing has to do with Sex, drugs, and more sex. Watching it as an adult makes me appreciate the punchlines.   See 6 other replies

I do too.Like so many of us, I used to watch this show growing up. I was only ten when it first aired and I'd sit up with my parents and brother watching. There are so few shows you can watch with the whole family anymore without having someone's idea of "real, hard-hitting TV" make you depressed instead of happy.Even better in hindsight than it was when it was new.   See 6 other replies
