• Is there a cost to join?
  No, all you need to do is join Commission Junction for free through our affiliate signup link. Your application will be subject to Hulu's review. You can leave the program at any time.

• Who can join?
  Anyone with a currently active website can sign up, but acceptance will be subject to approval. Your site must be live — not in development — at the time you make your application so it can be reviewed prior to participation in the program.
  
  If at any time while the Program is in effect, the Publisher (you) becomes a resident of Arkansas, Colorado, North Carolina, Rhode Island, or Connecticut, Publisher will become ineligible to participate in offers from Advertiser (Hulu), and the Publisher will automatically be terminated from Advertiser's Program, on the date Publisher establishes residency in that state. In addition, Publisher must promptly notify Advertiser in writing of such Arkansas, Colorado, North Carolina, Rhode Island, or Connecticut residency.
  
  Because Hulu's content distribution rights are primarily in the US, you will be most successful if your site visitors are US-based. Non-US visitors won't be able to sign up for Hulu Plus, and you won't receive a commission.

• How much can I make?
  You will earn $6 for each referral from your site that subscribes to Hulu Plus after the free trial period. Note that this is for new customers only, i.e., not previous subscribers who canceled and renewed. It's a one-time payment for each customer, not an ongoing payment.

  You'll be paid by Commission Junction on or after the 20th of each month. Tracking actions and accounting close on the 10th of each month.

• Can I create my own links?
  No, any links or promotional graphics must come from Commission Junction. Once you sign up for CJ and are approved for affiliation with Hulu, you will be provided with a dashboard for tracking your performance and all the necessary links and/or graphics to position on your site. These links and graphics must be used exactly as provided, and implemented according to the directions. The links and graphics are designed to track your earnings and performance seamlessly; if you change the links or create your own, proper tracking won't take place, and you won't earn your commission.

• Can I bid on keywords?
  Yes, you can bid on keywords that promote Hulu or the Hulu Plus Affiliate Program, with the exception of keywords containing the Hulu name or trademarks, or misspellings of these names. See Program Detail in the CJ interface for more details.

• Can I use email or newsletters to promote Hulu?
  No. The Hulu Plus Affiliate Program works like any standard display, banner, or text ad on your site, and you cannot promote the links through newsletters or email methods. Organic traffic to the program from your site is fine, but you may not promote or refer to it by methods beyond your site. You must use the provided affiliate program creative and text links. You cannot use Hulu trademarks or logos in any offsite promotion of the program.

• How long does the program last?
  The Hulu Plus Affiliate Program is ongoing. You will be notified of any changes in the program or terms that directly affect you as an affiliate. Again, payments for conversions are made on an individual one-time basis, not as ongoing commissions.

  No, but you must use the provided creative and text links only.

  Yes, this is OK as long as the links from your site to Hulu are those provided by Commission Junction.

• Can I create a page on my site devoted solely to the affiliate links, along with promotional copy or other content I create surrounding the links to drive traffic through the links?
  Yes, as long as the page does not mimic the look and feel of any Hulu or Hulu Plus pages or site elements.
