Good Music, Good Story
This movie's great if you love rap, and good if you hate rap. The story is a little over dramatic, but not by much; the have been movies awarded with oscars that are more over dramatic. The storys pretty good, and the lyrics/music are great. The best part of the movie is the rap battles.

A very good movie even if you hate rap music.
"8 mile" is not about rap music , but about finding about what makes you happy and stopping at nothing to achive it. If you liked this movie I would strongly recomend the documentary "Tupac Ressurection"

Only great rap movie out.
Really, there aren't too many rap movies in this genre that are successful the way 8 mile was. With a good director, cast and soundtrack; 8 mile stood out from the rest of the pack--hulu should add!

This movie is complete trash. Slim Shady has a hard enough time getting people to take him seriously as a rapper, as an actor he is complete crap.
