This movie is not about rap. Those who paid to see it were/are mainly rap music fans. The best part of the movie are the battles were Eminem shines. But then again, he is the star. The bigger and more lasting part of the movie is the struggles and final breakthrough of the main character, Rabbit. The same points can be made of very different movies of the past such as Saturday Night Fever or Foot Loose were the music is the main attraction and the main character seems to grow as the story unfolds...
