30 Days of Night: Blood Trails

This is a bunch of crap. Dont waste your time even hoping it will get good because IT DOESNT!!! Ive never posted a review on Hulu.....thats how bad these episodes are!!!!!

I am pretty exited about the whole four minutes in which I am expected to achieve "suspention of disbelief".
What rubbish.

This is a great example of what happens when you place all your hopes upon the responsibility of crack heads. This particular group of bounty hunters were pretty worthless if none of the members could stomach getting their lazy arses out of the house to run their own errands. So let's say in the event they weren't all killed while gathering their information; did they plan on sending an obvious addict to convince the authorities of an impending doom for an Alaskan town, at the hands of blood thirsty vampires no less? I honestly think the US government bailouts are a better plan than that. Despite the obvious failings of the so called "vampire hunters," I think the series is pretty decent. One can't complain too much about their stupidity, since it sets up a pretty decent vampire movie further down the line. Finally, vampires that aren't emo dressing bisexuals. I give this four stars.-Rob

I thought this was a good incorporation of material that was in the novel (the NO angle). Fearnet has all the episodes combined into one which is 23 minutes long. Much easier to watch and enjoy. Hope hulu gets it soon and the sequel "Dust to Dust" (takes place after the movie).

Yes, Blood Trails is a prequel to the movie 30 Days of Night. But it also assumes you have some knowledge of the 30 Days world outside of what was in the movie. With these two things in mind, this is a great mini-series. The format is weird and annoying to be sure, but even so in each 3 or 4 minute installment there is still plenty of suspense and blood. The only thing missing is the eerie quietness of the movie, but considering the location of the mini-series it is probably a good thing it has a slightly different feel.
